Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid (or eligible) state SLP licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with pediatric and early elementary populations preferred
- Knowledge of school-based evaluation, IEP process, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students in PreK-3rd grade
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational objectives
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development
- Offer strategies and resources to classroom teachers and parents for carryover of skills
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
