A school-based speech-language pathologist opportunity is available in Plano, TX. This contract position offers a full-time, onsite role serving a diverse K-12 student population. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address varied communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development for speech-language services
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with mixed caseloads spanning early childhood through high school
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
