Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 academic year, supporting students at two vibrant educational environments. This full-time contract position enables you to make a tremendous impact, guiding approximately 30 elementary-aged learners through individualized speech and language therapy, assessments, and ongoing support. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate closely with dedicated educators, administrators, and families to promote student growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Background supporting elementary-aged students
- Outstanding communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation to both assigned sites
- Ability to work a full-time, on-site schedule (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a manageable caseload
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and document findings
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Partner with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families to support student success
- Maintain meticulous records, ensure compliance, and provide clear progress updates
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment at both site locations
