Make an impact working with middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to support learners at a pivotal stage by providing specialized speech and language services in a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
  • Exposure to working with middle school-aged students preferred
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, creating IEP goals, and delivering both direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Demonstrated organization, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 middle school students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Perform evaluations and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services based on student IEPs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress records
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings and staff consultations

Work Details:

  • Assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027
  • Full-time hours (40 hours per week) on site
  • Middle school campus assignment
