Make an impact working with middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to support learners at a pivotal stage by providing specialized speech and language services in a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
- Exposure to working with middle school-aged students preferred
- Proficient in conducting assessments, creating IEP goals, and delivering both direct and consultative speech-language services
- Demonstrated organization, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 middle school students with diverse speech and language needs
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services based on student IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and staff consultations
Work Details:
- Assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- Full-time hours (40 hours per week) on site
- Middle school campus assignment
