Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting private and home school students for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse caseload as you travel between private school sites in the area.

As an itinerant provider, you’ll deliver speech and language evaluations, create individualized IEP goals, and support students through both direct therapy and consultation within a school-based setting. Your collaboration will extend to special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families, helping to ensure every student achieves their communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to traveling between private schools (reliable transportation required)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for diverse student populations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver speech-language therapy (both direct and indirect)
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Engage with families and educators to provide resources and support

This full-time, onsite position (40 hours per week) offers steady hours throughout the school year, allowing you to establish strong connections with students and staff. The selection process includes a brief virtual interview and thorough review of your school-based SLP experience and licensure.
