Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- State licensure as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your professional insights and collaborating with educational teams to achieve best outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation on progress and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Partner with families and provide resources, guidance, and support to maximize each student’s success
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services as needed throughout the academic year
