What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Organized, flexible, and adept at adapting to different caseloads and grade levels
  • Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services onsite to assigned students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support each child’s communication goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and other multidisciplinary team activities as needed
  • Adapt approaches to meet the varied needs of students across different grade levels
