Take your expertise and make an impact in a school-based setting near Plano, TX, as a licensed CCC-SLP. This full-time contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and wraps up May 27, 2027. There's flexibility for part-time schedules if preferred. You’ll support students throughout the school year and play a key role within a collaborative, caring educational environment.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Confidence in leading IEP meetings and conducting evaluations/re-evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and serve as Case Manager for assigned students
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload
- Supervise and mentor two SLPAs (one monolingual, one bilingual), ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Offer consultation to teachers and families to maximize student success
