Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas
- Experience working with school-aged children across elementary, middle, and high school grades
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in Grades K-12
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop tailored intervention plans
- Write and maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student goals and accommodations
- Partner with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into daily classroom activities
- Offer guidance and resources to families to encourage student growth beyond the classroom
