Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students ranging from kindergarten through high school. In this contract role, you will support the communication and language development needs of students in a dynamic school environment not far from Plano, TX.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience providing therapy to students in Grades K-12 is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, voice, language, and fluency disorders for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on achieving specific speech and language goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records for student files and reporting requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other school personnel
- Provide direct and consultative services as required by each student’s IEP
- Support students’ academic success through targeted communication interventions
