A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Plano, TX, offering a dynamic opportunity to support students’ communication development within a school setting. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans tailored to improve their speech and language abilities. The position includes travel requirements, offering variety and exposure to different educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Travel between schools as assigned to deliver services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to travel as required for job assignments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for supporting students with communication challenges.
