Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and small group settings
- Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement
- Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals or classroom aides as needed
