Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-8 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience or practicum in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload of up to 61 students (average caseload 55)
- Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for K-8 students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
- Work closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families to support students' needs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to school and state requirements
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and related professional development
