Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-8 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload while gaining valuable experience in school settings. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help shape students' communication skills and enhance their academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience or practicum in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage a caseload of up to 61 students (average caseload 55)
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for K-8 students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
  • Work closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families to support students' needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to school and state requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and related professional development
