School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pleasanton, California

Step into a rewarding contract position designed for passionate Speech Language Pathologists ready to make a significant impact in academic settings. This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 3, 2026, and ending May 28, 2027, with the school year starting August 6th. Working weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, you'll support a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across school locations to be determined.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certification as SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
• Experience in school settings or working with school-aged children is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and caseload management skills
• Eagerness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy services
• Track student progress and update documentation in alignment with district and state guidelines
• Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and families for optimal student support
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
• Adapt service delivery across multiple schools as assigned
