Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Hold, or be eligible for, the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Relevant experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Effective communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams
  • State licensure or credentials required for Michigan school SLPs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs of early childhood students
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans within the framework of special education
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
