Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech Language Pathology in schools
• Prior experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Strong background working with AAC devices and strategies
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
• Deliver direct and consultative services, both individually and in groups, to support student progress
• Integrate AAC technologies and resources to maximize student participation and independence
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and document compliance in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Engage in IEP meetings, staff debriefs, and ongoing professional development
• Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech-language disorders and intervention techniques
