What you’ll bring:

  • Active Florida SLP license required
  • CCC or CFY credential welcomed
  • Strong knowledge of the special education process and IEP documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style for various ages, from high school to elementary
  • Experience in school-based settings highly valued
  • Commitment to professional ethics and student-centered care

Your essential responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain meticulous progress notes and ensure compliance with IEP mandates
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers and families to support student goals
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
  • Serve approximately 32 hours weekly at one school, 15 hours at another, and 6 hours with a high school caseload, maximizing your impact across diverse student populations
