In this contract role, you'll work closely with engaged staff and administration to ensure students in grades K-12 reach their highest potential. Caseloads are thoughtfully balanced, with the aim of assigning 50-60 students per SLP, and placements are tailored to your strengths—be it early childhood, adolescent, or advanced learners.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- Experience with K-12 student populations, ranging from first to twelfth grade
- Skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload
- Conduct thorough evaluations and generate individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate, timely student records and progress documentation
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
