Apply NowA full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) position is available with an immediate start in Ponca City, OK. This role is based in a school setting, serving students from grades Pre-K through 5, with a caseload of approximately 50 students. The majority of these students present mild to moderate articulation and language needs and spend most of their school day in general education classrooms, receiving both pull-out and push-in speech services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate articulation and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress within general education settings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) eligible or certified.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly grades K-5.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for mild to moderate articulation and language impairments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
