Grades K - 5 Certified Speech Language Pathologist in Ponca City, OK

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) working full-time on-site with students across elementary grade levels in a supportive academic environment. Begin making a difference right away with an ASAP start! You’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, enjoying a dedicated 30-minute break for lunch daily.

In this essential role, you will support a caseload of approximately 50 students in grades PK-5, primarily addressing mild to moderate articulation and language needs. Your services will empower students to thrive in their general education classrooms through both pull-out and push-in models, fostering their communication skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications required:

• Current certification or eligibility for certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF)
• Experience or a strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
• Ability to provide speech and language therapy using evidence-based practices
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the flexibility to adapt between push-in and pull-out service models
• Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service delivery in a school setting

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy for students with articulation and language needs
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educational teams and families
• Conduct speech-language assessments and document progress
• Provide consultation and support to general education teachers for student success in mainstream classrooms
