Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ponca City, OK

Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) supporting elementary students with diverse communication needs in a vibrant school setting. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity begins ASAP and offers a set schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break to recharge. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team and work with students in grades PK-5—about 50 on your caseload—providing vital speech and language services that support academic and social success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
• Authorization or willingness to work in a school setting with children in grades PK-5
• Experience or strong interest in addressing mainly mild/moderate articulation and language needs
• Excellent collaboration skills to partner with general education staff and families
• Positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy in both pull-out and push-in formats, supporting each student’s individual needs
• Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEPs and progress reports
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students, empowering them to participate fully in their general education classrooms
