Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Make a difference in the lives of students as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a supportive school environment near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This full-time, onsite contract role begins August 10, 2026 and continues through May 28, 2027, with assignments at one of several locations serving a diverse PreK–12 student population. You’ll work a consistent schedule of 35 hours each week (7 hours per day), providing therapeutic services and collaborating with educational teams to help students succeed.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
• Certification as a Clinical Competence SLP (CCC required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work onsite (remote/teletherapy not available for this position)
• Understanding of student caseloads ranging from mild/moderate to severe needs (caseload approx. 60)
• Strong organizational and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in Pre K–12, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic disorders
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to implement student-centered interventions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Manage progress monitoring and adapt treatment plans as needed

Additional Details:

• Depending on assignment, you may support students at locations including high schools, elementary schools, and specialized center schools for students with severe needs
• Candidates will need to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including new or verified fingerprint clearance and JLA badge issuance through the AHCA Clearinghouse
