Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Demonstrated experience working in schools, preferably with diverse age groups
- Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for students with speech and language challenges
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both elementary and high school settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor progress for each student on your caseload
- Maintain accurate records, prepare required reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage with teachers and families to implement successful interventions and support strategies
- Adapt services to meet individual needs within a school-based schedule
