This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, where you’ll serve a caseload of approximately 60 students across various grade levels. The assignment is set to begin on 8/3/2026, extending through 6/1/2027, providing a formative presence throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an SLP – CCC, SLP – CFY, or SLPA in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent ability to develop and implement tailored speech-language strategies
- Proficiency in documentation and IEP process
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct therapy services—both individual and group—to support students’ educational progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and collaborative planning
- Maintain thorough records of student performance and progress
- Engage in ongoing communication with team members and guardians for optimal student support
