Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Florida.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them achieve communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students across grade levels.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services and document progress toward IEP goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders and interventions.
