Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of Maryland
- Prior experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and family communications
- Offer guidance to teachers and support staff on classroom strategies and accommodations
