Shape the future of students’ communication by supporting learners in a dynamic school setting near Port Orchard, WA for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to provide high-quality, in-person therapy services from August 31, 2026, to June 17, 2027. This is a full-time, contract opportunity working with both elementary and secondary students in a supportive and collaborative environment.

In this role, you will maintain a direct caseload of up to 45 students at the secondary level and up to 42 at the elementary level. Your expertise will help students develop critical language, speech, and communication skills, empowering them to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington SLP license
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based SLP work
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records as required by school guidelines
  • Work closely with educational teams to support student success
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and professional development
