Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students across two school sites for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role provides the opportunity to work full-time (7.5 hours daily/37.5 hours weekly) in a dynamic, in-person setting near Port Orchard, WA. Work closely with students from kindergarten through high school with an assigned caseload generally between 48–60, with a firm cap at 48 where possible.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credentials
- Active Washington State SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate
- Completion of fingerprinting and background process with OSPI
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-age populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adjust to multiple school environments and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to K–12 students on site
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in eligibility determination
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication needs and academic achievement
- Keep accurate service records and maintain compliance with documentation guidelines
- Engage in school and district meetings as required
