Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active Washington State SLP license
- Prior experience serving students in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, adapting approaches to meet diverse K-12 needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in the classroom
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based speech therapy
