Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Port Orchard, Washington

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Washington state SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting diverse students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators & families
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students across grade levels
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school/district policies
• Educate staff and families on communication disorders and best practices
• Uphold professional standards and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
