Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Washington state SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting diverse students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators & families
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students across grade levels
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school/district policies
- Educate staff and families on communication disorders and best practices
- Uphold professional standards and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
