The position begins just before the school year, offering a chance to onboard and participate in training starting as early as 8/24/26. The official first day with students is 8/31/26. The contract continues through the school year, ending tentatively on 6/16/27, with possible extension to 6/23/27 in case of snow days. You’ll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week, supporting a balanced caseload of approximately 50 students, from preschool through age 22.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligible)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration and maximize each student’s success
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
