A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in grades 9 through 12. This contract position is located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, and offers flexibility for full-time or part-time candidates. The role is available immediately and extends through May 28, 2026. Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to high school students (grades 9-12)
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed or working towards licensure as an SLP
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations in a school setting
  • Open to candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certifications or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
