Located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, this opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to support high school students from 9th through 12th grade. The position is a contract role extending through May 28, 2026, with a caseload focused on pediatric speech and language services within a school setting. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Familiarity with school-based therapeutic practices
  • Licensure or certification appropriate for educational settings (SLPA or SLP)
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for high school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services for students in grades 9-12
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed to meet educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as required
