You’ll be assigned to just one campus per assignment, with manageable caseloads covering either K-8 or high school students. Enjoy a 35-hour workweek (7 hours daily, Monday to Friday) with clear assignment durations for excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Experience with K-8 and high school populations, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing (district fingerprinting; AHCA Clearinghouse if previously printed)

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct SLP services to students as assigned (K-8 at Palm Pointe; high school at Ft. Pierce Central)
  • Collaborate closely with on-site SLPs, SLPAs, and educational teams
  • Support students’ IEP goals through assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Ensure continuity of care during staff leaves
  • Maintain timely, accurate records
