Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, documentation, and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct intervention using evidence-based practices to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student supports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and required documentation
