Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Port Townsend, Washington

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
• Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings is highly valued
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Familiarity with IEP procedures, documentation, and progress reporting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct intervention using evidence-based practices to address speech, language, and communication disorders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student supports
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and required documentation
