A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school environment in Portage, IN. This role is ideal for speech therapy professionals with expertise in school settings and holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working as an SLP within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and students
Location:
- Portage, Indiana (contract assignment within a school setting)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy to address speech, language, fluency, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
