Speech Language Pathologist in Portage, IN

Two contract positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, working onsite with students in elementary or middle schools. These roles begin August 12, 2026, and run through May 26, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
• Prior experience in school settings working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of 45-55 students independently
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the contract term

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech/language therapy for elementary or middle school populations
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain required documentation and adhere to compliance standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
