A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school located in Portage, WI. This contract position spans the current and next school year, providing an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to support students' communication and speech development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide guidance and consultation to school staff regarding communication strategies
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and manage multiple caseloads
