Speech Language Pathologist in Portland, ME

This contract position seeks an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite, collaborating directly with school staff and students. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are also welcome to apply
• Previous experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working with K-12th grade students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and provide evidence-based therapy services
• Develop and update individualized education programs (IEPs) for eligible students
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in school-based meetings and professional development sessions
