This full-time, contract position is ideal for a dedicated SLP committed to helping students develop strong communication skills. You’ll work in person with a manageable caseload of 20 students, each presenting unique needs and strengths across a range of communication challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and related services
- Strong organization and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans appropriate for each student
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure integrated support for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on student needs and progress
- Foster an encouraging and supportive atmosphere for students to thrive
