Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in K-12 schools or similar educational environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and small group, in accordance with IEP goals
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to promote generalization of skills across settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and evaluation records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development opportunities
