Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Oregon or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
- Deliver therapy in group and individual settings, adapting interventions to meet each student’s unique needs
- Monitor progress, maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support student success
- Engage with families and staff to promote carry-over of skills beyond therapy sessions
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional standards
