High School Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Portland, OR

Required Qualifications:

• Active state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience working in a school setting with elementary and/or high school students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to address students’ speech and language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on students’ goals and accommodations
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices in the field
