Key Qualifications:

  • Active state certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working within school settings (elementary, middle, and high school experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development in K-12 populations
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and create effective treatment plans for diverse student needs
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students individually and in groups
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and documentation in coordination with IEP teams
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student access to the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide timely updates to all stakeholders
  • Participate in eligibility determinations, staff meetings, and parent conferences as required
