School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Portland, Texas

As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with students, families, and educators to foster academic and social success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active or eligible state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience providing services in educational settings is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across various grade levels
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Conduct screenings and participate in eligibility determination
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Educate staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies for student support
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvement
