Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Portola Valley, CA

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are considered
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices in intervention
• Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Adaptable, patient, and passionate about fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations in compliance with school and state requirements
• Develop, update, and report on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
• Maintain clear, timely records and thorough documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Contribute to staff training, professional development, and student advocacy initiatives

This contract opportunity offers compensation between $55 and $70 an hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
