Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices in intervention
- Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, patient, and passionate about fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations in compliance with school and state requirements
- Develop, update, and report on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Maintain clear, timely records and thorough documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
- Contribute to staff training, professional development, and student advocacy initiatives
This contract opportunity offers compensation between $55 and $70 an hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
