Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with varying speech, language, and communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students to determine needs for speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services, both individually and in group settings
- Document progress, maintain comprehensive records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Utilize creative, evidence-based approaches to therapy to engage and motivate students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support overall student success and communication goals
