Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with varying speech, language, and communication needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students to determine needs for speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services, both individually and in group settings
  • Document progress, maintain comprehensive records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Utilize creative, evidence-based approaches to therapy to engage and motivate students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support overall student success and communication goals
