Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to develop and implement tailored therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized treatment sessions
- Develop and update IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Engage and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Participate in parent meetings, professional development, and staff training sessions
