Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools is beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans targeting individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to promote language acquisition and communication skills
- Maintain comprehensive records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to support student achievement and participation
- Educate school staff on best practices in speech and language development
