Key Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) in Virginia
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services and student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Provide recommendations and resources for classroom accommodations as needed
