Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) in Virginia
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Provide recommendations and resources for classroom accommodations as needed
