Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer support and education to families and staff to promote generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development activities
  • Support students across a variety of settings, including classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one sessions
