Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and education to families and staff to promote generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development activities
- Support students across a variety of settings, including classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one sessions
