A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide full-time services in a high school setting, working closely with students to support communication needs. The district seeks an immediate start through early June 2027, offering professionals the chance to make a real impact on students’ development and academic achievement. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, though this is not required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) highly desired
- Experience within a school setting, especially with a high school population, is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services based on student needs
- Consult regularly with teachers and other educational staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
