Step into a specialized contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning journeys in a school-based setting just outside Potts Camp, MS. This fulfilling position is ideal for SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are looking for a manageable caseload and a flexible, part-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with CCC credentials
- Experience working in educational environments or with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong clinical skills across speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and efficiency in managing a small, focused caseload
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 17 students
- Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure individualized communication goals are met
- Monitor student progress, assess needs, and document services in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on comprehensive student supports
- Deliver services for 2-3 hours per week, offering targeted interventions that make a real impact
