This rewarding position supports two distinct regions across four school sites, each with an estimated caseload of around 34-40 students. Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Hold (or be eligible for) relevant state licensure to practice in educational settings
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and other support personnel
- Flexibility to serve two distinct areas, supporting multiple schools
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed
- Consideration may be given to virtual candidates if an SLPA facilitator is available onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide guidance and in-service support to educators and family members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decisions
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
