Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active or pending state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students’ educational success
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
